Default I got it, I got it!!!!! Now let the fun begin

I found myself a '95 GT 5.0L with only (get this) 48,000 km. No lie. Now what I need (or want) to do is to get 300hp out of it. The only thing is that this is my only car and will be driving it daily. I'm doing the exhaust first, wich will be 2 1/4" from the manifold to tailpipe with an x pipe and dynomax super turbo mufflers. Next I was thinking of a cold air intake, suggestions??? And perhaps an aftermarket computer upgrade. Do you have any other mods you can think of that would that are not too expensive but will yield some power gain??

It will be hard to get 300rwhp out of it without doing heads, cam, intake and exhaust. I would say if it is gonig to be a daily driver just put some nitrous on it. Kits can be had cheap, they are easy to install nad doesnt effect normal driving.

Put some gears in first - you'll get an immediate performance pleasure!

The gears are great, 3:73's are nice and you can feel so much difference, Also do some homework and put together a nice package such as the Upper intake, lower intake, heads, headers and exhaust. Throw in a cam and some 1.6 or 1.7 rr's and you'll have yourself a daily with some balls. Trick flow makes nice products for the price that normal people can afford I dont know what your money situation is, just my .02

I have actually thought about getting the Holley Systemax Kit. Comes with heads, cam, and intake. They claim major numbers, I think something like 350, or maybe 300. If you want the power cheap, go with the juice.
