hey, i recently bought a set of 17x9.5 rims and was wondering what tire sizes would fit on them. i've been thinking of 275's all the way around, but i'm not sure if a smaller size would be better on the front end. not planning on alot of drag racing, just fun street driving. anyone have some thoughts on this?

			 I run:

Rear 17X9 With 275-40's Front's are 17X8 245-45's. The difference in sizes makes them equal height. They fit perfect on the wheel. Click on my files . If your's are 17X9 all the way around. I would put the same size tires on so you can rotate. I had to use 17X8 fronts on the roadster because of clearance.

ok, so would 285 x 40 be a perfect fit on a 17 x 9.5 rim? would there be enough clearance for 285's on the front end?
