Putting dual Flows
I have a 65 stang w/ 600cfm carb and perf. intake and petronix ign. system. I am concerned about a putting i hear when i hit 70 mph on the left side flow. It putts and banging I've checked the Vacuum the timing is @ about 9 everything is working fine could there be something else wrong that i havent looked at? I asked a fried w/ a cougar of the same year and he said it was normal.

Putting and banging does not sound normal to me. Is your muffler close to the frame? Exhaust leak? Maybe your driveshaft is out of balance. My 65 stang has flows on it and they sound great. On my 92 GT when I first installed them, it hit the frame. You could definately tell.
