6500rpms on a 428? You should consider yourself lucky to only have a spun rod bearing and not a rod through the block. Gotta be careful on those old FE engines. The redline is really the redline.
Sorry to hear of the problems, but a rev limiter is probably a good idea. Hope you have better results next time. |
