as far as i know, the SN95 swap is close to the same as the pre 93 T-5 swap.

If you buy a new transmission then yes you will spend well over $1000 to get it done, but if you buy a used tranny like I did then it wont be nearly as expensive.
I bought everything used except for the clutch kit/cable and quadrant. And after selling my year old rebuilt AOD for $425, i ended up spending under $200 out of my pocket. Not bad for about a half second quicker at the track
