Just unbolt the H pipe from the rear portion of it, fanagle it on the headers. Should be easier to get it back on from the rear part of it since the mufflers/flowtubes move a little more than the headers. Also, if you've recently lost/misplaced a bracket, that might have some effect on the fitment of the H-pipe.
