The two plastic pieces that hold my throttle tension cable to the throttle body broke, and my throttle tension cable was just dangling. I hooked it back up to the throttle body and took it for a ride. She ran like a dream. I had all of the tension back in my pedal. I guess with 11 years of driving a stang (come on, we all know we floor it every so often, or maybe more ) the pieces broke. My dad got the replacement part from Ford for me this morning. I got ripped I think ($8). Thanks for everyones help. And no, I didnt drive it far, i babied it home about a half a block. And how would that effect my transmission, when i hooked the cable back up to the throttle body, the transmission shifted like a dream. Thanks for everyones help.
