![]() I've got some rust bubbles that have formed on my oil pan and I don't feel like pulling the engine right now to replace the pan. Is there any problem with sanding them down and repainting the pan while it's still on the car? A guy at a shop told me I'd weaken the walls of the pan if I sanded it down but I can't imagine it would be that big of a deal. The bubbles are pretty small and it's not like I would have to use a grinder. Anyone have any advice?
